Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

At kirri, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help. This policy outlines our returns, refunds and warranty process and operates in addition to your rights underAustralian Consumer Law.

30-Day Returns

We accept change of mind returns within 30 days of purchase, provided the products meet the conditionsoutlined below.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Fragrance oils must be unused and unopened.
  • Diffusers must be returned in their original packaging.
  • Any fragrance oils must be removed from the diffuser before returning.
  • Products must be returned in a clean, resalable condition.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

Returns requested more than 30 days after purchase may not be accepted.

How to Lodge a Return

Step 1: Submit Your Return Request

Step 2: Provide the Required Information


To help us assess your request as quickly as possible, please include:

  • Clear photos of the products you wish to return.
  • A brief explanation of the reason for the return.
  • Your order number and contact details.

Return requests are typically reviewed within 1-2 business days.

Step 3: Return Your Items


Once your return has been approved:

  • Carefully package the items for return.
  • Diffusers must be returned in their original box.
  • Remove all fragrance oils from any diffuser before shipping.
  • Send the approved items back to our warehouse.

Please notify our Customer Care team once your parcel has been sent so we can monitor its arrival.

Refunds & Exchanges

Once your return arrives at our warehouse, our team will inspect the products to ensure they meet the return conditions outlined above.

If approved, we will process either:

  • A refund to your original payment method; or
  • An exchange for another product.

Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery times and shipping costs vary depending on the courier selected.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact our Customer Care team as soon as possible.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the product and packaging
  • A description of the issue

Our team will review the information and work with you to provide an appropriate solution.

Eau De Parfum Returns

Due to health, hygiene and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened or used Eau De Parfum products.

Any return request for an opened or used Eau De Parfum will be automatically declined.

Unopened Eau De Parfum products may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase, subject to the return conditions outlined in this policy

Product Warranty

kirri products are covered against manufacturing defects under the warranty periods outlined below.

  • Element Diffuser - 12 Months
  • Beacon Diffuser  - 12 Months
  • Pillar Diffuser      - 12 Months

Consumable products such as fragrance oils, candles, reed diffusers, room sprays and Eau De Parfum are not covered by a manufacturer's warranty. However, these products remain covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Claims

If your product develops a manufacturing fault during the applicable warranty period, please contact our Customer Care team with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos or videos showing the issue
  • A description of the fault

Our team may troubleshoot the issue with you before determining the appropriate resolution.

Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, kirri may, at its discretion and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Provide a refund
  • Offer another appropriate remedy

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse or improper operation
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Damage caused by failure to follow product instructions

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law.
